Why does Curley's wife come in and bother the men?
In chapter four in Of Mice Of Men i was observant and questioning the fact of why Curley's wife comes in the barn and bothers Lennie and Crooks? When Crooks responded to Curley's wife's comment he yelled, "Then if you know, why you want to ast us where Curley is at? (77). Curley's Wife is always around other men because she feels like Curley is never around and she never gets to be out. I confirmed my theory when Candy Says this, "you gotta husband'. You got no call foolin' aroun' with other guys, causin' trouble" (77). Curley's wife responds with "sure i gotta husband'. You all seen him. Swell guy, ain't he? Spends most of his time sayin' what he gonna do to guys he don't like, and he don't like nobody. Think i'm gonna stay in that two-by-four house and listen ho Curley gonna lead with his left twict, and then bring in ol' right cross? 'One-two' he says. 'Jus' the ol' one-two an' he'll go down' " (78). That is why i think Curley's wife is always outside with other men.
