How does George Show Leadership?

In part two of Of Mice And Men, readers were introduced to a new perspective. This perspective is noticing how George shows show leadership. George's leadership is most visible when he spends time with Lennie. He shows more leadership and demonstrates characteristics of a role model to Lennie than to anyone else. This is so because he feels Lennie is not capable of being alone and taking care of himself. I feel as if there is two beneficial outcomes to this behavior. One of them is that since George is a mean kind of character and sort of snobby, caring for Lennie brings out a kinder side of him where he shows leadership and care towards Lennie
